Dino History World is an independent, editorially-run reference site covering dinosaurs, paleontology, and fossil hunting -- taxonomy pages, museum and fossil-site directories, curated video, and related field-gear guides. It's intended for general education and enthusiast reference use, not as a primary scientific, professional, or legal source of record.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, bulk-download, or systematically reproduce the site's content or database for republication, redistribution, or to train a third-party AI model, without our prior written permission.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its infrastructure.
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that infringes the rights of others.

Individual, non-commercial reference use -- reading, linking, citing with attribution -- is always welcome and doesn't require permission.

We source taxonomic and scientific content from public paleontological data and named institutional references, and fact-check pop-culture content against primary sources. Even so, paleontology is an active field where classifications and findings change -- content here reflects our best understanding at time of writing and shouldn't be treated as the final scientific word on any species or event.

Figures on the Fossil Market page are historical sale records compiled for reference and context. They are not live market data, appraisals, or investment guidance, and shouldn't be relied on as such for any purchase, sale, or valuation decision.

The site's original writing, layout, and design are owned by Dino History World. Photographs and fossil images are sourced under their own licenses and separately attributed -- see our Copyright & Attribution page for details on each. Scientific names (genus and species) are established nomenclature under the rules of zoological naming and aren't owned by anyone.

The site links to external sites -- museums, retailers, video platforms, and others -- for reference and convenience, including some affiliate links disclosed in our Privacy Policy. We don't control and aren't responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any site we link to.

The site is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any content is complete, current, or fit for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dino History World isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, including decisions made based on its content.
